800G OSFP AEC
POOP80AECxxx is a parallel 800Gbps 8-lane Small Form-factor Pluggable (OSFP800) AEC. It provides increased port density and total system cost savings. The OSFP800 full-duplex AEC offers 8 independent transmit and receive channels, each capable of 100 Gbps operation for an aggregate data rate of 800 Gbpson up to 5 meters of AEC. The module operates by a single +3.3V power supply. The product is designed according to the OSFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA). It has been designed to meet the harshest external operating conditions including temperature, humidity and EMI interference. The module offers very high functionality and feature integration, accessible via a two-wire serial interface. Pro-optics 800G OSFP AEC is built based on retimer. AEC can replace any existing Active Optical Cables for significantly better power and cost yet keep identical interface and performance. The use and replacement of AEC is simple and straightforward as it adopts the standard OSFP form factor and complies to MSA specifications. The product provides an onboard MCU that allows the users to access full monitoring and configuration data via the 2-wire interface.
