    Pro-optics Launches NVIDIA-Compatible 800G & 400G DAC/ACC for High-Speed Networking

    Shenzhen, Dec 14, 2023 – Pro-Optics, a leading provider of high-speed networking solutions, is excited to announce the launch of its latest lineup of 800G and 400G DAC and ACC products. These cutting-edge products are fully compatible with NVIDIA and have successfully passed client-side validation, ensuring exceptional performance and reliability.

    The new product range includes direct attached copper (DAC) and active copper cables (ACC), designed to meet the evolving needs of high-speed networking applications. Pro-Optics understands the importance of customization, and therefore, offers OEM branding services. Customers can now personalize their products using a password-protected EEPROM for enhanced write protection, allowing for easy customization to suit individual requirements.

    Pro-Optics DAC and ACC products are currently fully compatible with NVIDIA’s 800G IB switch MQM9700-NSF and the NVIDIA ConnectX-7 series network adapters. This compatibility ensures seamless integration and optimal performance within NVIDIA-based networking environments.

    The 800G & 400G DAC cables are constructed with shielded copper wire, further enhanced with RFI foil shielding. These cables are capable of achieving impressive speeds of up to 100G-PAM4, with a reach of up to 3 meters. With near-zero latency and power consumption of less than 0.1 Watts, they offer exceptional performance for high-speed data transmission. Cables with 30AWG are recommended for lengths below 2 meters, while 26AWG cables are suitable for lengths up to 3 meters.     The 800G & 400G ACC cables, on the other hand, feature pre-emphasis signal booster ICs (not a DSP), also known as Linear ACCs. These cables extend the reach to 3, 4, and 5 meters, providing flexibility in networking setups. With power consumption of 1.5 Watts on the 800G end and 0.6W and 0.35W for split ends, these cables offer excellent power efficiency. With minimal latency and the choice between 30AWG and 26AWG cables, customers can seamlessly integrate the ACC cables into their networking infrastructure. Similar to the DAC cables, the ACC cables are available in 800G straight, 400G, 200G, QSFP112, and OSFP-RHS split ends.
