A 1U rack-mount fiber transport unit delivering two channels of uncompressed 12G-SDI ultra-HD video and two independent Gigabit Ethernet links over a single-mode, single-fiber span of up to 60 km — with redundant AC/DC power and full web-based network management.

Product features

Single-fiber long-haul transport: Carries 2× 12G-SDI ultra-HD video channels and 2× independent Gigabit Ethernet channels over a single optical fiber, with a maximum reach of 60 km.

Automatic SDI signal detection and rate adaptation: Seamlessly supports 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SD-SDI. The unit automatically identifies the incoming signal format — no manual configuration required.

SMPTE ST 178 compliant. Passes the full SDI pathological pattern stress test, guaranteeing signal integrity under the most demanding transmission conditions.

Front-panel LCD display providing real-time visibility into all key operating parameters:

n Optical module temperature and dual power supply voltages

n Per-channel signal input / output status

n Remote-end status readback — transmitter and receiver can each monitor the operating state of the far end

Front-panel LED indicators provide dedicated, at-a-glance status for SDI signal I/O, optical link activity, and power supply health.

IP data transport compliant with IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u, IEEE 802.3x, and IEEE 802.1d standards.

Ethernet ports with auto-negotiation at 10/100 /1000 Mbps and automatic MDI/MDIX crossover detection — straight-through or crossover cables both work.

Integrated web-based network management for remote monitoring and configuration via any standard browser — no dedicated software required.

Standard 1U rack-mount form factor, compatible with 19-inch equipment racks for centralized deployment and easy cable management.

10 Redundant AC + DC dual power supplies, operating independently with automatic seamless failover to ensure uninterrupted operation in the event of a power source failure.



Our solution — FPGA-based high-speed demultiplexing architecture

To overcome these barriers, we developed an FPGA-driven demultiplexing engine that transparently splits one 12G-SDI signal into four parallel 3G-SDI optical streams at the transmitter. Each stream travels independently over the fiber at a bitrate well within proven optical power budgets. At the receiver, the four streams are seamlessly recombined into a single, full-quality 12G-SDI ultra-HD output — with zero compression and no perceptible latency.
