100G CFP-QSFP28 Adapter

The 100G CFP to QSFP28 Adapter is a high-performance, hot-pluggable interconnect solution designed to support 100G Ethernet and telecom applications. The adapter converts a CFP MSA interface into a single 100GE QSFP28 port and is fully compliant with the CFP MSA standard.

The 100G CFP to QSFP28 Adapter is a high-performance, hot-pluggable interconnect solution designed to support 100G Ethernet and telecom applications. The adapter converts a CFP MSA interface into a single 100GE QSFP28 port and is fully compliant with the CFP MSA standard.


The Pro-optics 100G CFP to QSFP28 Adapter converts ten bidirectional 10G electrical channels into four bidirectional 25G electrical channels, operating at data rates of up to 28 Gbps per channel. The adapter supports Forward Error Correction (FEC), which can be enabled or disabled by the user through register configuration.


On the transmit side, the adapter converts ten parallel electrical input signals into four parallel electrical output signals through 10:4 multiplexing and associated circuitry. On the receive side, four parallel electrical input signals are converted into ten parallel electrical output signals through 4:10 demultiplexing and associated circuitry.
