100G CFP2-QSFP28 Adapter

The 100G CFP2 to QSFP28 Adapter is a high-performance, hot-pluggable interconnect solution designed to enable seamless interoperability between CFP2-based systems and QSFP28 optical modules. It supports 100G Ethernet and telecom applications by converting a CFP2 MSA interface into a single 100GE QSFP28 port.

The 100G CFP2 to QSFP28 Adapter is a high-performance, hot-pluggable interconnect solution designed to enable seamless interoperability between CFP2-based systems and QSFP28 optical modules. It supports 100G Ethernet and telecom applications by converting a CFP2 MSA interface into a single 100GE QSFP28 port.


Compliant with the CFP MSA standard, the Pro-optics 100G CFP2 to QSFP28 Adapter integrates four high-speed electrical lanes in each direction, operating at up to 28 Gbps per lane. The adapter itself does not include Forward Error Correction (FEC).


When used without FEC, the adapter supports 100G QSFP28 LR4 and ER4 optical modules. If the host network equipment’s CFP2 port provides FEC functionality, the adapter can also support 100G QSFP28 SR4, PSM4, CWDM4, and CLR4 modules.
